Welcome to my world!
I’m Latrice Taylor Gleen—Author, creative entrepreneur, and founder of DROGUE New York. My work is rooted in resilience, authenticity, and self-expression, shaped by real life, real lessons, and the belief that purpose is built through experience.
Based in Buffalo, New York, I also serve my community as an Emergency Services Fire Dispatcher with the Buffalo Fire Department. In moments where calm, strength, and clarity matter most, I show up. That same mindset drives everything I create—from storytelling to streetwear to faith-centered empowerment.
As an author, I’m known for turning raw life experiences into honest, relatable narratives that speak to growth, healing, and self-ownership. My books—My Life’s Journey, I Became Her, I Became Her Too, Rebuilding After Bullshit, and A Daughter’s Love—challenge readers to face their truth, push through adversity, and rebuild with intention. With two additional releases scheduled for 2026, my voice continues to evolve and expand.
DROGUE New York was born from the belief that what you wear should speak before you do. The brand represents confidence, survival, and self-worth—urban, unapologetic, and deeply personal. Alongside Nychole Elle Fashion and Cosmetics, my creative ventures exist to remind people that style is more than fashion; it’s identity, power, and presence.
Driven by faith and lived experience, my mission is clear: turn pain into purpose, pressure into power, and truth into impact. Through literature, fashion, and faith-based empowerment, I continue to build spaces where authenticity is celebrated and growth is non-negotiable.
This is more than a brand.
This is a lifestyle.
This is DROGUE.
